Her passion for extensions and blonding runs deep; the signature blonde-and-extensions look isn’t just her specialty, it’s part of her own identity. Kendra’s commitment to her craft shines through in every service she provides.

With a well-established clientele at BHS, booking with Kendra can be a challenge, but her clients will tell you she’s well worth the wait.

Emily is a talented and passionate stylist known for creating beautiful lived-in colour and blondes that enhance and complement each client’s natural features.

Emily offers a wide range of versatile, customizable, and transformative services. She is dedicated to continual growth and has traveled extensively for advanced professional education—training with industry leaders such as Schwarzkopf, Bellami, and Redken to stay at the forefront of modern colour, cutting, and extension techniques.

As the new Manager of Below Hair Studio South, she brings strong leadership, technical excellence, and a deep commitment to elevating both the guest and stylist experience. She values building genuine connections with her clients and is passionate about helping them leave the salon feeling confident and completely in love with their hair.

Kristel is a long-standing member of the Below Hair Studio family, previously based at the North location and now bringing her talent to BHS South. She specializes in extensions and Asian/dark-hair blonding, with a strong focus on major transformations and advanced lightening services.

Known for her precision, patience, and commitment to excellence, Kristel often works with clients through full-day, eight-hour transformation appointments—no challenge is too big, and no goal is out of reach. She thrives on creating dramatic, high-impact results while maintaining the integrity and health of the hair.

Kristel loves meeting new people and is passionate about helping every guest achieve the hair of their dreams through thoughtful consultation, expert application, and a meticulous eye for detail.

Morgan is an East Coast–born stylist who has proudly called Alberta home for the past decade. With nearly six years of experience behind the chair, she is dedicated to helping every guest achieve their absolute dream hair. As a stylist, her priority is clear communication, transparency, and always protecting the integrity and health of the hair throughout every service.

She specializes in all things blonde, corrective colour, and creating low-maintenance, lived-in looks that are tailored to each client’s lifestyle and goals. Morgan takes pride in explaining the “why” behind her process, ensuring clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident from start to finish.

Morgan is passionate about bringing her clients’ hair visions to life and looks forward to welcoming new and returning guests into her chair.

Carissa is an experienced stylist with over a decade in the industry. After spending six years in Calgary being mentored by exceptional stylists, she made the move to Edmonton in 2021—taking a leap of faith for love and ultimately finding the perfect place to continue growing her career.

Throughout her ten years behind the chair, Carissa’s passion for the industry has only deepened. She has trained extensively across Western Canada and the U.S., continually expanding her skill set and staying current with the latest techniques and trends. Her recent accomplishments include working toward becoming a certified Redken Colourist and completing her IBE extension certification.

Carissa values open communication and loves collaborating on a clear, achievable plan—whether the goal is a lived-in look, bright blonde, or something in between. Her focus is always on delivering beautiful, customized results that make clients feel their best.

Born and raised in Jasper, Maia is embracing the big city life while continuing to grow her craft. After three years of pursuing a History degree, Maia discovered that hairstyling was her true passion and made the leap into the industry—something she considers the best decision she ever made.

She specializes in balayage, blondes, lived-in colour, and bold fashion shades. Maia is deeply honoured each time a guest trusts her with their hair goals, and she prides herself on creating an experience rooted in clear communication, active listening, and transparency at every step.

She is widely known among her clients for her exceptional customer service, and for making her guests feel genuinely loved, understood, and safe in her chair.

After relocating from Ontario to Edmonton following her recent marriage, she is excited to begin this new chapter at Below Hair Studio.

Savannah’s focus is always on creating hair that feels personalized, effortless, and uniquely suited to each guest. Whether a client is seeking a soft refresh or a full transformation, she approaches every service with thoughtful consultation, precision, and a commitment to enhancing their natural beauty.

Rachel is a talented colour-focused stylist who recently relocated to Edmonton. She is deeply passionate about creating artistic, high-impact colour work—whether it’s bright, radiant blondes, dimensional brondes, or bold, fiery reds.

During the first six months of her apprenticeship, she received one-on-one precision haircutting training using techniques from the renowned Toni & Guy Academy. Her dedication to education has been a defining part of her career; she has completed an intensive mentorship program, pursued extensive advanced training outside of school, and successfully challenged her final exams to become Red Seal Certified.

Rachel believes in thorough, transparent consultations. She takes the time to deeply understand each client’s goals, map out how to achieve them, and provide professional product recommendations to keep their hair looking incredible long after they’ve left the salon.

Nicole has had a love for hair, makeup, and all things beauty for as long as she can remember.

Before pursuing a career in hair, she attended business school for accounting, but it didn’t take long for her to realize it wasn’t the right path. Following her passion turned out to be the best decision she ever made, and she’s incredibly grateful to wake up every day doing what she loves.

For her, the most rewarding part of the industry is meeting new people, creating confidence, and getting to be a small part of someone’s life in such a meaningful way.

Outside of the salon, she’s a coffee lover, a big foodie, and someone who loves shopping, traveling, spending time with loved ones, and trying new things. One of the craziest — and best experiences she’s ever had was skydiving. She was terrified, but would do it again in a heartbeat!
