Owner of Below Hair Studio

I founded Below Hair Studio in 2015 after already spending years behind the chair, and today I bring over 17 years of industry experience to the leadership side of the business. While I’m no longer taking clients myself, my focus is on operating our two locations and mentoring the next generation of stylists. And yes… my golden retriever, Kona, is still very much part of the team and often greeting guests at both studios.

My mission as a business owner is to create a space that feels welcoming, inspiring, and genuinely enjoyable for both our guests and our stylists. This industry has a unique way of transforming how people feel about themselves, and being part of those moments—now through the hands of our growing team—will always be the most rewarding part of what I do.

Owning and operating two locations has been a labour of love and an ongoing education in leadership, creativity, and resilience. I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to guide new stylists as they build their careers, and for the continued support of every guest who chooses BHS.
